Re: Addon MIDI para ZX-UNO
Having just received mine I can say it's a great add-on. I'm looking forward to the publication of the .playmid source. I also wonder how many of these chips are available from the original vendor. They don't seem to be in producton any more, but they list them for sale so perhaps they are sitting on a stock pile. In any case, if practical, I'd like to add MIDI to the Chloe board if it ever gets to the point that it goes into production.
Re: Addon MIDI para ZX-UNO
Very interesting.
Type in this little code and run it:
30 Let c$ = "M7O3N1c&c&$eeg&$b&$b&f&f&"
40 Play c$
Now insert Y1 at the beginning of the c$ string: "Y1M7O3N1c&c&$eeg&$b&$b&f&f&"
Run it again. You can add a 50 GOTO 40 line to repeat the sound.
Found this code on a Crash (issue 28) about MIDI interface
And here some notes about MIDI on 128K: https://oldmachinery.blogspot.com/2012/ ... -midi.html
Great sound. I have to learn how to make music on it.

Re: Addon MIDI para ZX-UNO
Inside /SPECCY/MIDIS folder on my Halloween distribution.
As far as I know it can only play .mid files
You have some wav files on /SPECCY/WAVS folder.
Yo must use .dmaplayw esxDOS command. Plays .wav file, which has to be 8 bits, unsigned and mandatory sampled at 15625 Hz
