Quiero instalar Ts-Conf en ZX Evolution

Mensaje por Kristatos » 17 Mar 2019, 09:26

Hola.

Personally, I rather like the default base configuration, but I'm told that installing TS-conf is apparently quite straight forward... You'll need to first download the appropriate ROM and firmware files, stick them on an SD card, plug them in, then turn on the ZX Evo with F12 (softreset) held down to flash the firmware... Specific instructions can be found on the internet quite easily, here, for instance: http://oldmachinery.blogspot.com/2014/0 ... mmies.html

I think there are two versions out there, one version allows you to flit between baseconf compatibility and Ts-conf with a keyboard shortcut, while the other version in use is ts-conf only. I don't think the dual version however uses the same menu options though, as its main feature is to preserve baseconf compatibility rather than offer the same menu options as such...

Iv yet to personally try TS-labs TS-configuration, so I would be very interested to hear your opinion of it once you try it... :) I think there are probably more people using it than Baseconf. I hear there are many programs out there that can show of its capabilities but most are demos or presentations rather than full blown games as such, so software is still limited, but increasing slowly. On the other hand, I have heard that development of the baseconf is slow, and some have complained about difficulties getting documentation or cooperation with its authors to understand or use its full capabilities... Personally, I like all the options of the baseconf, but I am aware that there are others who are more minimalist in their tastes, who prefer the stripped down menu options of the TS-conf...

I have read the instructions at oldmachinery.blogspot.com, but they talk about another firmware needed that can be found at http://tslabs.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=157 but that link is no longer available.

I would like to install the dual version.

Anyway, thanks for your advice.

Looks like this thread is about a dual combination version of the OS... don't know if it links to the needed file though...

https://zx-pk.ru/threads/21242-pentevo- ... enno!.html

Seems to be quite difficult to find uptodate files for the dual combination... Hmmm...Ill have to google around a bit more to see if I can find them...

Buenas...

http://oldmachinery.blogspot.com/2014/0 ... mmies.html

A ver:
