Problem with my ZX-UNO

Mensaje por Spectrum4Ever » 24 May 2016, 19:08

I recently had my ZX-UNO which after a while i got it all working and was loading spectrum games through exsdos.

I went exploring and was looking at the other systems and went back to the spectrum only to find out that it was freezing when booting up. the other systems all work fine. I went to upgrade the firmware and the core for the Spectrum. but it crashes when it starts and on screen i have all colour bars like if a real spectrum was faulty.

Can anyone help me in sorting this problem out ?

I don't know if you have the core or the firmware corrupted. You can backup the firmware by doing this steps.
  1. Insert a joystick in the port.
  2. Press up and fire while booting.
  3. After that, load the attached tape via EAR cable, standard load.
  4. When the tape is loaded press F2 quickly.
  5. In the new firmware menu, try to upgrade the entire flash with a SD and putting FLASH.ZX1 on root.
