SE Basic 4.2 does something like this (although UnoDOS 3 doesn't check for an RTC). It has an extra byte for FRAMES which enables it to store the date/time as a positive integer version of UNIX time (QNX time). The .PLAY command for esxDOS also supports MIDI. The 6-channel PLAY command from DerbyPro also supports MIDI (but you'll get 6-channels on the AY instead of the usual three). Is there documentation for the position of the line and frame blanking and sync pulses for the TC2048 computer? It's probably available somewhere in the Fuse emulator docs. I know Fred did extensive testing on real hardware to ensure accuracy. But this app is just to test that all three video modes...
